River Oaks Bookstore is at 3271 Westheimer Road. This week, I was in the area and early for an appointment, so I dropped by. It’s an old-school bookstore from the subjects for sale to the lounging area.

When I walked in, a few people were sitting in the front talking. The owner brought me a cup of coffee and showed me where the Russian Literature was.

I believe in supporting the independent bookstores in town. If you do too, consider this beautiful little store the next time you make a book purchase.
