May 13 the cover for my new novel, Murder For Me, will be revealed. I’m very proud of the cover. It’s beautiful and it communicates the intensity of the book. We had to go through a few tries, but the final cover does everything I wanted.

One of the rules you have to consider when you develop a cover is the thumbnail rule. How does it look at the size of a thumbnail? Most books are purchased on line now, especially in my genre. When a buyer is looking on line at the book, they will see a picture of the cover the size of a thumbnail.

The cover is the hook. More. It must look professional and enticing. It must attract readers that read your kind of book. And it needs to hint at what’s to come.
