Last night I received the nicest email. As I work on the sequel to my novel Murder for Me, things like this keep me going.
Writing isn’t easy work
Writing isn’t easy for me. It’s hard work. I have to rewrite over and over. But then I get an email like this: I’m good for another week’s work now.

Russell,
We met at the Lone Star College – Montgomery – Bayou City Book Festival on April 3, 2017.
You signed your book Murder for Me with “What do you think of Larry?”
Larry and Lar and the people who perceived the difference between them kept me turning the pages. Sometimes the individual motivations and logic of the story didn’t make sense to me but that didn’t stop me from wanting to know what would happen in the struggle between Larry and Lar.
I don’t think you should let Larry and Lar die. Let him survive and tangle again with Marilyn who turns out to be Marilyn and Mar. That would give you four interactions instead of two to play with.
What do you think? Let me know.
