This is the third time I’ve written this blog. I almost finished it the first two times and accidentally erased it. I hate that.

This is a big day. Big. The book is in. No more revisions. Now, I’m just waiting for it to come out.

You can’t imagine the minutia of decisions you have to make to get indie published. Everything from who your editor will be to whether your cover will have a shiny or a matted finish. And it’s important.

How your cover impresses the potential reader, buyer, is crucial to success. Today, I showed my new cover to a young women, and her response was that it was scary. Good. That’s part of what I wanted the reader to feel when they saw it.

This weekend is the Comicpalooza 2016 across the park from my place. If you’ve never been to one, you might try it. The people watching alone is spectacular.

I expect to have several YouTube videos from it. I’d like to interview some of the fans that come in costume. I may interview a few local authors that I expect to see.
