Last night, they were testing the lights on the large screens on the main stage.
They also setup concession stands all over the park, built two domes, and built at least two other band stages at a close parking lot. By late this afternoon, the Ferris wheel was all the way up and it’s lights were on.
By late afternoon, fog and light rain covered the area, but they didn’t stop their work. The Grove is closed for private parties beginning Friday. Construction has doubled the traffic congestion, so avoid this area if you can. If you’re driving here this weekend, plan a place to park before you come because parking will be very difficult to find. You might consider parking somewhere else and taking a train. It’s close and you won’t have to pay so much for parking-if you can find a place at all.
