I described in the last blog that the Houston Rodeo Cook Off was really just a cowboy’s Mardi Gras. Saturday night was the craziest this year. I’ve attached a couple of videos to give you an idea.
This first one shows just how it’s like in the avenues between the tents. Most teams have their own tents, many with corporate sponsors, and there’s over 450 teams.
The next one shows inside one of the tents. You can see the crowd all dressed in cowboy gear rocking with a very good band.
I also attached several pictures of my friends I made at the same time.
