I proved up an adoption of a nine month old baby this week. The parents were so happy. By the time the hearing was over, the parents, me, the court reporter, and even the Judge had tears of joy. Crying. It was such a beautiful moment.

Practicing law has so many ugly moments, but then you have something like the adoption. I’ve been joyfully happy ever since that hearing. I hope you get to experience that joy this week.
